Barbara North is a mystery and thriller writer, the author of three short stories, one of which was a finalist in the 2020 Writer’s Digest Short Story Contest, and is currently working on her first novel and screenplay.

She had a twenty-five-year business career as a management consultant and executive before turning her attention to writing full-time. She holds an MFA in contemporary fiction from Southern New Hampshire University.
